How the VeriFreeze x UtilizeCore Integration Enhances Snow Removal Companies

Verifreeze Integration Overview
In This Article

Winter storms bring unique challenges to snow removal contractors, especially when it comes to managing operations and billing for services. To address these complexities, UtilizeCore has launched an integration with VeriFreeze—a powerful tool designed to simplify and enhance snow removal workflows by providing precise ice formation data. Here’s everything you need to know about how this integration delivers measurable value to snow service providers.

    What is VeriFreeze?

VeriFreeze is an advanced add-on to the WeatherWorks Certified Snowfall Totals (CST) service. While CST focuses on measuring snow and freezing rain accumulation, VeriFreeze dives deeper, offering insights into refreeze events after winter storms. For snow service providers, this means more accurate data to support operational decisions and billing processes.

    Why This Integration Matters

Snow removal isn’t just about clearing snow—it’s about ensuring properties are safe and compliant throughout the winter season. This often involves detailed tracking of services, locations, and weather conditions to create transparent records for clients and subcontractors. The VeriFreeze integration addresses critical pain points in this process by:

    1. Streamlining Operations: Automating the attachment of VeriFreeze reports to relevant work orders (WOs), saving time and reducing manual errors.
    2. Enhancing Billing Accuracy: Providing ice formation data to complement snowfall totals, ensuring invoices reflect all aspects of services provided.
    3. Improving Client Transparency: Offering detailed reports that back up services rendered, reinforcing trust and accountability.

    How the Integration Works

The integration bridges UtilizeCore’s robust service platform with VeriFreeze’s precise weather data. Here’s an overview of its functionality:

    1. Identifying Locations: The system retrieves location details subscribed to WeatherWorks and verifies them in UtilizeCore.
    2. Fetching Relevant Data: For trips logged within the past 3 days, the system checks for work orders linked to configured trades and retrieves the corresponding VeriFreeze reports. This process is run daily.
    3. Attaching Reports: VeriFreeze reports are automatically attached to trips and invoices, ensuring all parties have easy access to critical weather data.

This integration is designed to handle diverse operational scenarios. For example:

    • If a trip’s check-in and check-out span more than 24 hours, the system attaches two distinct VeriFreeze reports.
    • If multiple trips occur on the same day for a single work order, one comprehensive report covers all trips.
    • Adjustments made to a trip automatically trigger the detachment of the previous report and the attachment of a new, accurate report.

These capabilities eliminate guesswork and manual intervention, allowing teams to focus on delivering exceptional service.
